Broad bean competition
"Jack and the Beanstalk" seemed to be the theme of the Broadbean Competition on the 5th of December 2010, with prizewinners being presented with plenty of "gold" in the form of coins, hen and eggs. There was also a cow and the "blood of an Englishman" (a bag of blood & bone fertiliser) to take home.
