Hi my name is pete smith, is this the same stan chun who taught an englishman called bob johnson kung fu in the early 1970`s. If so I am writing a book on Bob and am looking to find out more about his time in NZ during that period and would be indebted to you for any help you could give me.
Thanks

That email resulted in a lot of correspondence to Pete and his friend James Bedford Stradling of Leicester, England.
The book 'Fightmaster'was eventually written of Bob Johnson who taught me not the other way around.
Peter and James loved what I wrote to them so much so that they included a 32 page chapter of yours truly.
Only about 100 copies of the book was printed as the Johnson Family would not consent, nor did they say No, to the publication of the book and the chapter was titled Spirit of the Tiger.
