Rosie Young, 1924-2004

Posted by Katrina (Rosie's daughter)
Our mum (Rosie) had the most beautiful smile and gorgeous thick black hair. She married our dad (Peter) and they raised a family of 5 (Dorothy, Paul, Michael, Kevin and Katrina).

Life for Rosie was predominantly working in one fruit shop (GC Young, Levin)... ...followed by another (Peters & Co, Palmerston North)

But she did get to travel back to the homeland with Peter and her sister Doris.

Hi Kirsten,I have some photos to insert, but assume you need to do something at your end so I can edit this bit?

No, you can do the whole lot. Just go into the post and use the little button that looks like a picture. Click it and put in the file name and location of your image, then click upload.

I don't appear to have been given editing rights to this post, only to the post I created myself on the family reunion.
