Mum's (Marie) beautiful Tree Peony "Tamafuyo" flowering in our garden at the moment. This tree was growing at Marina Grove and she wanted me to transfer it over to our place where she knew it would be happy. In the 1960's Dad imported Tree Peonies trees from the USA and sold them from Zeniths in Manners Street, wrapping and posting them to all corners of NZ. I think he was the first to bring these beautiful flowering trees into NZ.
