The Video was taken on a Canon HV20Camcorder and then I edited this scene into a clip using Windows Movie Maker. Then saved it as a WMV file before uploading to the site. The quality is pretty poor compared to the original file, but I guess it has to be to conserve space. You can probably upload vid from a mobile no problem, assuming that you can save it to a file on your computer. Not sure about direct from a phone to the site, but its likely that too can be done
You might be Ok with the Pc you have- worth giving it a go, say with a very short clip to start with. Windows movie maker usually comes standard with most computers these days. You may need a Firewire cable depending on what you are connecting to the PC.
Wow Danny love the vid. I think any vid entries from me will happen once you walk me through it when you're over next - I'm still yet to buy a Fire Wire cable too!

I thought the quality was okay. Will definitely have to get a computer with more RAM before I do this I think.
