Majestic Cuisine Yum Cha 18 Sept 2010

A "goodly gathering" (to use an Aunty June-ism) of 22 Chunese came together to enjoy a leisurely catch up with rellies over a Yum Cha at the Majestic Cuisine restaurant yesterday at 12.30, although a request on our dockets to vacate our tables by 1.30 for the next sitting had some of us seriously alarmed at the thought of "small talk" possibly compromising the all important business of eating, so it was a matter of trying to do both in the relatively short amount of time available!

While we didn't exactly resort to talking with our mouths full (tempting though it may have been) according to the final tally on the docket, we did manage to work our way through a total of 77 dishes, so it just goes to show how very capable our family is at time management and multi-tasking, not to mention the usual appearance of so many cameras and photographers that would put most self-respecting members of the Paparazzi to shame.

Our next get-together will be at Uncle Ray's in November for the judging of the Broad Bean Growing Competition and a Pot Luck lunch.
